Install instructions

Option 1: EZ Method  :)

  1. Download the .ZIP FILE, RogueKnightv1.zip
  2. Extract the .zip file
  3. Inside the RogueKnightv1 folder, double-click rogueknight.bat
  4. Enjoy!  :D

Option 2: Installing Java Method

The game is confirmed to run on Windows and Linux, macOS is untested but please try it! (Java is platform independent and libGDX is developed for macOS   :3   )

You'll need to have the Java JDK installed/available, not the JRE consumer release. The .jar file should run on JDK version 11 (Major version 55) and newer, but we recommend having the latest version of the JDK, which you can acquire here (we recommend either the x64 Installer or x64 MSI Installer).

Download the .JAR FILE, RogueKnightv1.jar

If the JDK is installed, you should be able to double-click RogueKnightv1.jar to run it.

Loved the atmosphere. Audio was excellent.

Bit hard to know the pickups from the scenery

Great work! Love the randomization and collecting treasure for "Points" classic. Perfect with the theme. Had some issue's with the .jar version staying open in the background when exiting. But other than that good show.

Thank u so much! Glad u liked it!!

Yea we haven't been able to sort out that issue yet, where the program doesn't close, sorry about that!

We're just handling it with Ctrl+C  (and the like) for the time being
